It is a little on the complicated side for me. I used to do them all the time when I used a "marketing consultant" they would manage them for me so that made it easier. I got burned pretty bad on options with some calls in 2012 and haven't used them since. Time to get back on the horse I guess.

This is the kind of stuff I learned from those consultants, I never knew how to do any of this before then. All those marketing seminars and classes, I guess we were just supposed to figure this stuff out for ourselves. I suspect 90% of the farmers who go to those marketing seminars and classes just go any pay 25 cents for a naked put and hold it all the way to expiration when it expires worthless.....and never do it again. That is what my dad did, that is what I did. Once you understand where the risk lies there aren't any surprises.
