Washington Co Ks
Someone did that in a neighbor's wheat field several years ago. The climbed the bank on the other side of the road into a field of mine but only got into some waste ground in the corner of the field. This was in the mud so he left some deep tracks. The neighbor called the cops but they said there wasn't much that they could do. The neighbor followed the tracks and found a pickup covered with mud parked at the guys girlfriend's house. When he told the sheriff that he found the truck he was again told that there wasn't much that could be done. He told the sheriff that that was ok he had the tag number and found out where the guy lived. The sheriff quickly got interested and said he would take care of it. After a visit from the sheriff the young man paid damages but the ruts were still there at harvest time.
