I too have a different opinion. Lived off farm for 22 years and finally moved back on the farm last fall. We love it. A lot of time and miles were wasted driving back and forth. Last fall it was great to have the kids out there and be able to see them or have them ride along. Not easy to do 10 miles away. I can actually get them out and helping with some projects which makes for some nice bonding and teaching moments.
