Jpartner, I would like to learn about this market structure you are talking about. Can you recommend a book about it or some other way to get the info?? My email is good

Back in June of 2012 grains were ready to sell off if we could have pulled out of the drought that started in late 2011. We had a great start to a bin buster... Instead we had epic 30 year drought in the spots that count and money flows pushed us up 3 bucks to 849 CZ. Now that in my opinion is a market fundamental. If the weather would have evened out we never could have achieved the new highs.

Opinion!!!!

Edit. And on the cattle deal. I think the highs are in for now as price is creating future supply. I expect record heifer retention. Takes awhile to see the results of that though..
