Scranton | Spread out over a few years.
Summer of 2003 I believe....I had bought 2 bean contracts early on the rise....around six I suppose....then two more around seven and two more around eight. I rode it up to 10.40 IIRC...at that point I was up between 50 and 60, which was big money for me then(and now :) ....then the worm turned...Down a buck in short order....I got out up $38K....
But then I thought I was a big time trader....told my friend I just need to do that a couple times a year and farming would be much easier for me. So I traded...and traded...and traded.
Between that and a restaurant venture I partnered in with those winnings, I'm pretty sure I've spent those almost $40 large three times. | |
