| Well last week I was afraid of what would happen because of a couple of birthday and graduation parties. Turned out I needn't have worried. A couple of days of being sick will really help the diet out. I'm pretty sure I've got all the fluid back in my system, and I'm taking credit for 2 more pounds lost. Total of 30.
As far as crops go, we plant about 60% wheat, with it about 2-3 weeks from harvest. The rains came too late for a bumper crop, but it will sure beat last years 7 bushels/acre average. The rest is planted about 60-40 to milo/soybeans. With about 12" of rain in spots since May 1, we have nothing in the ground yet. But, we generally have to close to July 1, with the preferred date by aroun June 10. | |
