We like Bisquick with some Lawry's seasoning salt. I prefer the Creole seasoning myself but not everybody like that, so I add it on my plate of fish. If you deep fry them try to keep the temperature above 350 degree's and use a oil that doesn't smoke. We use Canola oil but Peanut oil has about the highest rating .
