Jewell County KS | My 8 year old Dell Inspirion has bit the dust after the storms a couple days ago so I am needing a new desktop.
I found some trouble shooting steps and determined the power supply was bad and replaced that and now it turns on but has more problems. I have been out of the loop so to speak and am wondering what to replace it with ?
I think that I want to stay with a windows OS. The dell was running on Vista. What would be recommended for the next one ?
My wife was keeping the finances in Microsoft Money 2007 if there is anything compatible with that anymore ? I have my farming records mainly in Excel spreadsheets.
I do have some of my data saved to a external drive but I am wondering if I can install my old hard drive in the new machine to salvage the rest of my stuff of of it ?
