Sorry for the delayed reply. You're right, a pico would be easier for a one AP install.
I sometimes forget what it takes to set up Unifi. Now, I deal with it for management, and adding/configuring APs is stupid easy. Zero handoff is also nice in some of our larger buildings/yards.
