| If you have Windows.....
My example is from Windows 7, so may be different for you.
Go to Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features, and within there, you will see all software that is installed in a list.
Find the yahoo search engine ( and others search engines or programs that you may want to remove, but can only remove one at a time...) and just click once on to highlight, then right click, Uninstall. Will take a little bit to go thru removing.....
This should remove that from your list and most importantly your computer.
You might have to restart computer when you romove certain programs to totally remove it.
Also, some removals do not get rid of your folder in Windows explorer (your folder and files list that may be found if you right click on start button/explore)
You will have to remove them manually if you know for sure that the program is gone.
