I'm not ready at all. It's really going to stink but a good growing season is going to make for an ugly market. Protect the downside and leave the upside open. At least inputs should be forced down next year.
inputs aren't coming down. Your living in a dream world. They will hold for at least 3 years because you could have sold ahead. They don't owe you a profit remember and also you actually think NH3 is going back to $200 a ton or potash to $140? Think of your inputs 11 years ago. Everyone will be sucking gas if this plays out. All the talk of buying this or that cheaper is gonna have a rude awakening. It will be the markets way to trim fat.
