Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I had a bunch of tools stolen when I was working on a mobile rock crusher crew. My tools, probably $1000 worth, and some welding equipment. That was back when a good auto darkening welding helmet was $500. Total was probably around $2000. Companies insurance covered it all since it was in their service rig. Fairly large company, but they made it seem like it was common for them to cover employees personal belongings that were stolen from company property or vehicles.
I felt bad about the whole deal, because I know I'd left a big pry bar in the back of the pickup. Thief used that to pry open all the tool boxes and doors... was the nicest little town too, if you lived there you'd have never locked your doors. | |
