I lost my Australian Shepard to the blacktop in front of me about a year ago. I was home when it happened, and I had to deal with it. Shoveling your dogs warm guts into a plastic garbage bag kinda sticks with you awhile. When we replaced her with a new Golden Retriever pup, I headed straight to Menards and ordered enough material to build a sturdy fence. It cost me around $700, and I hate fences on an acreage, but I'll be damned if I'm going to go through that sort of horror ever again. | |
