Subject: 4830 sprayer floats--520 vs. 650

Leesburg, Ohio
Have a chance to buy a set of 520/85r38 floaters (basically 20.8x38) that fit our 4830 sprayer. They are local, good price, and are in good shape. I think they are Firestones.

My question is, will we regret not going with 650's? It will cost us almost double the price of these 520's for a set of 650's.

The 520's are 38's, so they will be a few inches shorter than the 380 Goodyears we have now. Is that a problem? (Plan to switch back to 380's for post-emerge)

Not interested in a brand discussion here. Mostly want opinions on size: will there be enough difference in floatation going from our present 380's to the 520's to make it worthwhile? Or is it worth double the cost for the 650's? I think the flat plate inches on the 520's is 390, vs. about 450+ on the 650's.
