sw Nebraska | I recently had one of the tie rods that pull the wing up fail upon unfolding. This is a 12row 30 planter, it had been setting outside for awhile then folded and moved inside for a month or so then unfolded hooked to a different tractor folded back up, hauled 90 miles then failed after unloading and unfolding. I did not see it happen but think the threaded piece with swivel ball that screws into tie rod itself broke with the theory that the pin or swivel ball froze. Has anyone else had this happen? Is this a know problem with this series? Is there anyway to prevent this? Do I need to replace the other side as a precaution? I have owned this planter for years and never had a problem. TIA
