Subject: RE: Property line and barn

Dublin, MS
Have another surveyor survey it for you. If he doesn't come up with a large difference try to swap on land with the out of town land lords. The surveyors will provide you with a description for the areas. Anyone suggestioning adverse possession or some other fence laws must like wasting money on lawyers fighting it out. If you and other owner can't work it out you take your property and he takes his. I would have a surveyor check it for you. Whoever built the barn or lean too made a mistake building it across the line, should have had it surveyed, cut your losses, make it right, and move on with life.

Surveyors always say pay me now or pay me later. You could spend the cost of a new barn in lawyers fees fighting over it.
