Pedee, Oregon | Fence line law and adverse possession are different things.
Adverse possession is pretty hard to prove. Not only do you have to openly use the property as yours, you have to pay all taxes on it, etc...
Fenceline rule applies if fence has been established long term (>20 years here). You can maintain the established fence line but it does not become the property line.
Sounds like this case I'd just let him farm over on your side a little to make up for the building. Probably easier than any other solution. | |
