North Central Kansas | We have had an unusually high death loss in cows this year. We have had two posted and the diagnosis was lymphoma on both. This is very frustrating because there is nothing I can do about it. The vet claims I should expect 1% loss from lymphoma every year. Well I'm at 2% in last 6 months. Should I believe what my Vet is telling me? Does anyone else see these types of numbers? We don't usually have near this many deaths. I might add the last 4 deaths have all been 7 year old cows bought off the same ranch. Any thoughts?? | |
