-North Mo | As noted the tile is to allow the water from the weep hole a place to go faster than the freeze time of it standing in the stem- probably perf. However that leaves the bottom of your hydrant unsupported, why not dump a couple buckets of rock around the valve. Cover it with plastic to reduce dirt from filtering down into your rock, all is supported, if it is plastic water line sometimes I use sand. | |
