WCIN
I had one done 2years ago. Outpatient surgery in and out in 4 or 5 hrs. They inflate your abdomen and insert a piece of screen wire over the tear. I walked out to the shop the next day, only took 1 of the pain pills and was good to go in just a few days. Of course I was sore for a week and didn't do any lifting. Doc released me in 4 weeks, said I could be his "poster boy" for healing fast. 58 yrs old at the time. Left doctors office and went and practiced a cutting horse, then went to a major show and showed. I would get it fixed SOON if you can. If it turns into a major rupture you can twist a gut and have to have major surgery to repair it. (my dad did that) Saw what he went through and you want no part of that.
