Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | We run steel grouser tracks over rubber tires. Grousers make a different machine out of our bobcat. We do go lots of ugly places...by that I mean mud. Rubber tracks have lots of advantages, but they will not go in the mud and they do freeze up in the winter. Some will disagree with me, but this winter we regularly fed hay and put out bedding in some terribly muddy lots. I have not tried a rubber track machine, but am certain they would not go where we go. Rubber tracks go over the mud...we get muddy enough there is no over, just thru the mud. I have a friend who custom fences. A few years ago he had a rubber track machine. He spent many hours getting it thawed out enough to work...then he traded it off. Good luck with your decision. |
