I don't know how interested you are or if it is just a garden plot or if you are looking for a new enterprise. The Wisconsin berry growers are hosting a field day on May 21st in Helenville at Jellies market. That is located just east of Johnson Creek. The main two fruits will be blueberries and strawberries.
Nate Nourse of Nourse farms will be talking on blueberries. He is very knowledgeable about all of berry crops as they grow and sell plants. The field day is open to members as well as nonmembers.

Go to wiberries.org for more information on the field day.

The biggest issue with growing blueberries is ph, you need a ph in the 4.5 to 5.5 range. That being said it is possible to lower the ph and grow blueberries in higher ph areas.

I don't know if this helps, but being able to talk to other growers at the field day might be the biggest help.
