We have a GE in the other house that didn't make it a year before needing warranty work........and we only used it about 2 months of that time. It's an over-the-stove with a vent fan. I've often wondered if that's part of the problem. Our one here at home is an Amana.........made by Whirlpool or whoever..........and is 8 years old. Not over the stove.
