Subject: John Deere 4430 Brakes

Navarre, OH
Hey guys i have my 4430 apart for new axle bearings and seals, and I'm wanting to do the brakes while I'm this far into the rear end. I took my brake plates and everything to the local custom clutch and brake shop and they wanted $600 to re-line them. I was curious if this sounded right? Or would it be cheaper to do them on my own, and what special tooling would I need if any? Thanks in advance guys!
