swohio | Finished up bowling for the year last night. Wife and I bowl once a month. Saturday's at 4:30 in the afternoon. Some days that is hard to leave the field, mostly in the fall, but it is so much fun and a major stress relief ( well not if your bowling bad ). Wife baby sits and she needs some adult time. Now that all kids are gone, it is almost like date night. We only have 4 teams, but we know everybody. We laugh so much and play cards and win a little money ever so often. I have not missed a day since we started 4 years ago. Farming can wait a day. I know some that would never miss a day in the field, but I am to the point that I feel really refreshed after bowling and we always go out to eat afterward. I suggest that if you work all the time, something like this might just make your outlook a bit better. We only do this once a month, we do go out when there's time in between, but do not miss bowling. Try it, you might like it! | |
