I guess my question to you is not why do you want it, but why are you opposed to it.

Ever hear of Bacillus thuringiensis?  My understanding is that Bacillus Thuringiensis is classified as a organically approved pesticide.  It is also the vehicle used to create GMO traits in crops. The GMO trait expresses itself as a protein inside the plant.  When a person (or animal) consumes a plant with the GMO gene, it is broken down into its basic component inside your digestive system. Do you know what that basic component is?  It is amino acids.  All proteins are made up of amino acids - 4 basic amino acids.  So, when you digest (eat) a plant containing a GMO trait, it is broken down into amino acids - the same 4 amino acids which comprise other proteins that you consume.

That is how it has been explained to me.  That is why I don't have a problem consuming crops with GMO traits.

So, tell me, why do you have a problem consuming foods with GMO traits?
