West Texas | You could go the cheap way and attempt to do it yourself. Some guys do that and swear up and down they are happy with it, and I won't believe them for a minute.
Or, you could do it the right way, and have your hearing evaluated by an audiologist, one with a REAL medical degree. They will test and evaluate your hearing, and adjust whichever hearing aid they deem best fits your loss. They will most likely carry several top notch brands, not just a company line. Several visits may be necessary to adjust the aids to where you are relatively satisfied with their performance.
Hearing "professionals" are trained only to sell the company product.
Don't expect "natural" hearing. That will not happen.
