NC IL | I had to do a sleep study based on neck measurements and body mass index to pass my DOT physical. I wasn't horribly happy about since I felt like I was fine. It was a home test that was sent from California. Very easy, just a wrist bracelet and a another think stuck on my throat. Insurance eventually paid for it, cost was around $300. I wound up having to have a CPAP to pass the DOT physical. I figured if this is the cross I have to carry, so be it. Many people have things so much worse.
I wish I could wear it all day! I love wearing it. I breathe so well with it on. Wife and I both sleep much better. Piece of cake!
Don't put it off. The home test is a breeze.
