| Seems to me you're talking apples and oranges here. SMS and AgStudio are really different animals. I beleive AgStudio is designed to handle massive amounts of data and do it as quickly as possible and generate a plethora of reports, what-ifs and analysis. SMS doesn't hold a candle when it comes to handling large amounts of data. It may all boil down to the size of your operation. I don't think AgStudio is for small farms unless you are really into software/computers/precision ag.. AS far as cost goes, you get what you pay for. If you're not working with a lot of data and don't need the horsepower, maybe SMS is all you need. From what I read, all precision software developers are moving to the cloud and to yearly subscriptions in order to afford to be in the market. AgStudio looks like it's just ahead of the curve in that respect........ my two cents......... | |
