If you are going to leave it at home and surf the net and send emails 16Gb is fine. If you are going to take pictures and any video at all..... Get the biggest you can.. .


I agree. We got into the Apple game around Christmas time. Long story short, I went from an Android to an iPhone 6. Got her an iPad. She traded in her iPhone 4 for an iPhone 6.

I decided to go with more memory on the iPad. I went with more memory but as it is turning out it isn't being so it is overkill at this point. Taking pictures with the iPad is certainly possible but for us is never done. It is clumsy to use as a camera and is certainly an annoyance to any else around you at a tourist stop or sporting event. The iPhones are used for pictures. The pictures can be transferred to the iPad via several methods.

As others have said it all depends on use. That's why they make them in different capacities. I kind of wished I had gone with more memory in the phone (music for me) and less in the iPad.
