I have an android phone and every computer I've used since 1984 has been Windows based. Now I'm thinking I want an iPad. Have done a little online looking and prices seem fairly consistent wherever I've checked. So.............is 16Gb big enough for normal everyday usage....photos, videos, some music and games, very little actual business? Looks like 64Gb is available for about another $100. 

From what I've picked up reading here, the Apple platform is pretty much hacker and virus-free. Is this correct?

I have a tendency to overthink the simple stuff, and that's probably what I'm doing here, but what else do I need to know to make this decision one I won't regret?
