Central Texas | Dad bought a new one about 50 years ago and in the following years ran a lot of cattle thru it. If one went down in chute could be tough to get them out, also a down cow could choke in headgate. When running a lot of cattle thru, sure was tiring swinging that heavy headgate open and shut all day. Was a modern design 50 years ago but there are lots better ones now. | |
