I'm seeing the same thing Garvo. On fields I plan to run cows on for a few weeks I planted to rye and it is 3" tall and really taking off. On some fields of bean stubble that are steep and have no fences I planted winter wheat for cover only. You have to look real close to see if the wheat is even alive.
