Purchased a used 3320 Patriot sprayer this winter. It has the 5 way nozzle bodies on it. I have never had these before. Only planning on having 2 tips on them. Do you need to put a cap over the ones that won't have a tip on them or can you leave them open? I would think getting full of dust probably isn't good. Thanks

Yes they need to be capped. If you think you can get by with only two tips you can replace the 5 way part with a 3 way for less than the cost of caps. Just pull the pin and swap them out, Bet some agtalker would love to trade you. I have all 5 filled on mine and still have to change a set once or twice a year, The new bean combo herbicides with their tight restrictions on droplet size are going to make it worse. Liberty with its high gallonage, small droplet requirement added two sets.
