I have heard of people doing them like that I just cannot imagine holding them and cutting both
We can used to finish around 1500 hd farrow to finish. My mother did all the piglet processing/castration by herself. She'd do them anytime after 1 day old. She would be real quiet and wait till a litter was nursing and she could catch the whole batch and throw them in a tub. Like was mentioned, when they're real small it doesn't take much to hold them. |
