Subject: RE: Sandy Corn

Coldwater, Michigan
A few of my customers have decided on the Non Irrigated sands near Coldwater, Michigan that a shorter season hybrid planted early, may be the better choice for maturity than something that is a fuller season hybrid. The longer season corns were just getting hammered by the July/August dry season. The shorter season hybrids planted early were actually escaping the dry period to a point in order to finish before it was as heavily influenced by the dry period.

Save all the moisture you can.
