Subject: RE: Farm magazine rant....

East central Indiana
It seems that even the farm "journalist" have their own agendas to push. I read a recent article about how split timing nitrogen studies show no benefit, yet the author provided a few reasons as to why the studies were flawed. Why are we surprised that the general public questions agriculture when the people writing about agriculture (for farmer's reading pleasure) pick the facts that are convenient to the editor's opinions?

The next time people call me to renew my "free" subscriptions I plan on telling them to save their postage and keep the magazine. If enough of us turn down the free magazines the circulation may drop enough to make advertisers think twice about buying space...probably a long shot though.
