Went to UND from 1988-1991 so was in old Ralph. Been in the Englestad and of course it is very nice, but still miss the atmosphere of the old stadium. The stories I could tell. Actually witnessed frozen gophers thrown on the ice when we played Minnesota. Funny as heck watching the refs picking up frozen gopher chunks for 10 minutes. Couldn't believe it but once when Wisconsin came to town someone threw a dead badger out on the ice. How the heck they got ahold of that and snuck it in I don't want to know. Ah----the good old politically incorrect days pre-peta.
