Central In | I have received a jury duty summons 3 or 4 times. The month I retired, I received a summons from both the county and the Southern District Federal Court. Well, I could not do both of them at the same time and I got off the county one. The night before going to jury selection in Indy, I got a call that the case had been settled out of court. I understand that you are picked to serve only on one certain case and not for the 3 whole months. Later I got a county summons and 50 people were gathered together to empanel a jury for a certain case. 13 people left by getting an excuse. After a while, a woman came in and dismissed us from further duty . The case had been settled. | |
