| We have an older Steinman rock picker for some of the bigger rocks, but we pick most of them by hand and throw in the loader bucket. I am amazed at how many farms no longer pick rocks, and roll them in the ground with massize and expensive land rollers. That is a sign that some people have way too much land when they don't even have the time to pick rocks. I have also head of people badly damaging their corn planters because they rolled the rocks rather than picking them the old fashioned way. New technology doesn't always mean better. We would much rather remove the rock permanantly, than keep rolling them back down with a very expensive piece of equipment. | |
