| The first thing to do, is to combine any smaller 401K plans that you have into your
own control. Do a rollover, and put them into your own account.
The larger, lowest cost mutual funds are found at Vanguard and Fidelity. Invest your money
in a balanced fund such as the Vanguard Wellington. Study your options, and you can do much
of this online.
I would not let some planner have take a big cut of your retirement money. They may siphon 1-3%
of your balances every year. Don't do it that way. | |
