South West UK | I find it ironic that in the most powerful country on earth people have to pay for mere insulin.
In the UK, if you are diagnosed diabetic, you no longer have to pay for anything, you get insulin and prescriptions free, and regular sight and health check ups, free of charge. As with suffers of any chronic health condition, it all goes free. I have a feeling you also get free access to an NHS dentist.
The same would apply if you were registered as disabled in any way or if you became pregnant, for the duration of the pregnancy.
All children/minors go free until their 18th birthday. | |
