Central Nebraska | Not wanting to start any Mac/Windows wars, just need some advice. I have run Macs for over 25 years, but I still have to have Windows for a couple of programs, notably SMS. I am still using XP as that is what came with Parallels that I run Windows with. Now SMS is saying they are quitting support for XP following Microsoft's lead. What should I upgrade to? I have Windows 8.1 on a laptop and am not impressed. Do I get a copy of 7 Professional or wait for 10.0? How much hassle is it going to be to upgrade? Sounds like it has to be a clean install, reinstalling all the software and data. | |
