Why, yes, File Explorer, Windows 8's new name for Windows Explorer. ;)
Both are OK, they do pretty much what we want them to do, but I am no power user.
I don't have many elements of comparison with other modern file explorers though, so I don't really know what we put up with, what a good file explorer could do better, but I have a feeling there could be a few more advanced features, like integrated access to the Command Prompt for any folder, integrated windiff between folders, integrated hexadecimal or other editors, more file formats supported by default with an Open or a Preview option (not really an Explorer feature,) etc.

Some automatic rules would be great too, like moving specific files to OneDrive folders, or specific downloaded files to specific folders instead of letting them accumulate in the Downloads folder.
