I use Dietrich knives, but the only time they get into corn stalks is at the end of the rounds. I think they would work in silage stubble with no problems.
The Houle disc covers are not true injection tools under our DNR laws. They are surface applied/disc covered. May not make a difference in your state, but it does here if your manure plan calls for injection.
