I have a 1/2" hose connected to my air compressor. On the end of the hose, I have a ball valve. I remove the core from the valve stem and place the ball valve over the valve stem. Flip the lever on the ball valve and blast air into the open stem. It does not fit tight onto the stem, but if you hold it firmly it works 99% of the time.
