| If not a lot of chemical mix left I reduce rate & spray it on the target field. If I have very much or will be spraying that mix again later I will offload into an old tote to use later.
As for cleanout, I do as others, rinse with clean water& spray on field I came from, rinse again using a tank cleaner or ammonia, then rinse again with clean water. If I have time I will let the rinse water with cleaner sit overnight before proceeding. Not always possible but after I finish cleaning tank I like to go to a crop that is tolerant to what I have just sprayed.
We have a 200 gal 3 pt sprayer we use for small jobs, When cleaning it if time allows I will use a pressure washer using tank cleaner or ammonmia to wash down the sidewalls. Our larger SP sprayer as a rinse ball in the tank that washes the sides of the tank.
