North Central Illinois
The track tractor system seems to work for me in my 20" rows. I have added Fast saddle tanks that mount in between the track and tractor. They hold 900 gals (450/side). This allows me to put on starter, spray and also side dress. For spraying I purchased another Fast product - 80' 3pt. boom sprayer. For side dressing, again Fast, a 40' bar w/ coulters on every other row. This is also a 3 pt. mount. When applying my goal is to stay on the planter rows. It seems to work. For me this system gets a lot of use out of the tractor.

With my 8320T JD, going down the road is rough but in the field it is great; however, you can easily make a berm when turning. Spraying the end rows can be a challenge.

Extra weight on tracks reduces life? I suppose so. It's one of the drawbacks to my system.
