Not all iPads have GPS, not sure how iPhones are set up think they do with the cell chips?

We have two iPads, one with built in WiFi and the other you have to go off of another device such as we're doing by pulling it off the router in our house. I assume this is how find my phone located the other IPad. I don't remember setting up my wife's cell phone to make it traceable (maybe my Verizon dealer did it when she picked it up) but I know I didn't do it to the two iPads and it knew where they were. |
