Joking aside, I think we live on a very complex world, and we are infants at trying to understand global trends and how heating and cooling systems interact on a global scale.
I expect when future generations look back on us and how much we know about the complexity of the planet's climate on a geologic time scale they will probably view us the same as we now see doctors performing procedures during the bloodletting stage of medicine. We think that we know just enough to make us dangerous. |
